- Smart Inventory® Solutions to Deliver Efficiencies and Cost Savings -
IRVINE, Calif., Nov 14, 2006 – Nexiant, a leading provider of inventory management solutions for the industrial market, today announced that one of the Big 4 international accountancy and professional services firms, has selected Nexiant’s Smart Inventory Manager and Nexiant Select point-of-use (POU) dispensing technology to improve office supply management.
Headquartered in New York, the firm has over 90 U.S. locations and is a global leader in professional services with core competencies in areas that include auditing, accounting, tax and transactions. With the lease expiration on their existing POU system approaching, the firm recently evaluated multiple suppliers and determined that Nexiant provided the best overall solution for inventory management.
The firm attributed its decision to choose Nexiant on the combined benefits that the company’s enterprise software and POU dispensing technology provide. Nexiant will produce cost savings on office supplies by enforcing access policies and automating replenishment requests. The firm has requested an aggressive implementation plan that will ultimately replace all existing POU equipment in U.S. locations that require automated office supply management capabilities.
“We are delighted to be selected by such a prestigious organization to help improve operational efficiencies and achieve greater cost savings,” said Anton Visser, president and chief executive officer of Nexiant. “Office supply management using POU technology was one of Nexiant’s early successful applications. We look forward to bringing our expertise in this area to one of the Big 4 firms which will ultimately increase employee productivity and reduce costs for them.”
Nexiant’s Smart Inventory Solutions combine software and modular hardware to provide management tracking and reporting capabilities, improve enterprise-wide office supply access control, ensure office supplies are readily available to employees 24/7 and reduce administrative and supply costs. |
