Nexiant partners with major industrial distribution and supply companies to sell and support its solutions throughout North America.

Nexiant is the leading developer of technology to manage the supply-chain for indirect materials (also called MRO) in the industrial market.  Established in 1999 as a Point-of-Use (POU) dispensing company, Nexiant has expanded its capabilities to include management software for the end-to-end MRO supply-chain.  Nexiant partners with major industrial distribution and supply companies to sell and support its solutions throughout North America.

Annual consumption of MRO material in the US alone is more than $150 billion and the major suppliers to industry are large industrial distribution companies.  MRO material includes a broad range of consumable and non-consumable items – from tools and safety equipment, to lubricants and maintenance parts – and the typical order size is estimated at approximately $200.  This means there is an enormous volume of orders, covering an equally enormous range of SKUs, which creates a huge opportunity for optimization.  In response, manufacturers and other industrial enterprises, as well as distributors and suppliers are pursuing ‘Lean’ initiatives designed to cut waste and inefficiency from the MRO supply-chain.

Nexiant supports and accelerates these initiatives by automating the flow of orders, providing tools to consolidate and reduce inventory holdings, and improving shop-floor productivity.  This boosts the profitability and competitiveness of BOTH the industrial customer and distributor.

Nexiant’s Lean MRO solutions combine our patented point-of-use material dispensing cabinets with cloud-based, enterprise level software delivered via a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model. This model replaces costly and labor-intensive on-site hardware and software with a web-based service delivered via subscription. The architecture of the Nexiant solution allows integration to manufacturers’ ERP, procurement and maintenance management systems as well as to the order management systems used by Nexiant’s industrial distribution partners, thereby supporting complete supply chain collaboration.  The result is immediate transmission of demand signals, integration of information, and timely, automated replenishment, resulting in significant reduction in inventory and labor costs.
